An Ancient Faith in a Historic Parish

A Living Liturgy

For Over 100 Years

The story of Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church began in 1915 when Father John Komir, a member of the Czarist-supported Russian missions, arrived from Altoona with Stephen Szuhaj to assist local Orthodox  people in the building of a new church. (The Daily News July  21, 1995 'News of Yesteryear'). 

The congregation of Saints Peter and Paul Orthodox Church continue to have and hold services for over 100 years!

Sts. Peter and Paul's Parish is an Orthodox Church in Mount Union, Pennsylvania that serves the residents of Huntingdon County and surrounding areas. We welcome you to our parish no matter of your background or heritage. There is a place for everyone in Orthodoxy. To that point, we also look forward to explaining our deep history and beautiful traditions which bring meaning and catharsis to our services.
